15 Tips for Seeking God's Guidance in Decision Making
Making important decisions can often be a daunting task. Whether it's choosing a career path, deciding on a life partner, or even selecting a new place to live, seeking God's guidance is essential. As Christians, we believe that God has a plan for our lives and desires to lead us in the right direction. Here are 15 tips, with biblical examples, to help you seek God's guidance in your decision-making process:
Seek His Kingdom First: "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33). Prioritize God's will above all else.
Pray for Wisdom: "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you" (James 1:5). Ask God to grant you discernment and understanding.
Listen to the Holy Spirit: "But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you" (John 14:26). Pay attention to the gentle nudges and promptings of the Holy Spirit.
