Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before You today with a heavy heart, seeking Your comfort and support for a dear friend who is struggling. Your Word reminds us in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 that You are the God of all comfort, and I pray that You would pour out Your divine comfort upon my friend in their time of need.
Lord, I know that You are aware of every tear they shed and every burden they carry. You see the depths of their pain and the weariness in their soul. I ask that You would wrap them in Your loving arms and provide them with the strength to persevere. Psalm 34:18 assures us that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. May they find solace in Your presence.
Precious Jesus, I lift up my friend to You, knowing that You are their ultimate source of hope and salvation. Your Word in Matthew 11:28 encourages us to come to You when we are weary and burdened, and You have promised to give us rest. I ask that You would ease their burdens and grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding.
Holy Spirit, I invite You into this prayer, knowing that You are the comforter and counselor. Romans 8:26 reminds us that when we do not know what to pray, You intercede for us with groanings too deep for words. I ask that You intercede on behalf of my friend, lifting up their needs and desires to our Heavenly Father.
Lord, I pray for spiritual renewal in my friend's life. Strengthen their faith and remind them of Your unending love and grace. Help them to trust in Your perfect plan, even when life seems overwhelming. May they find comfort in knowing that You are working all things together for their good, as Your Word promises in Romans 8:28.
Father God, I also pray for those around my friend who may be affected by their struggles. Comfort their loved ones, grant them wisdom in how to support and encourage. May they be a source of strength and love, reflecting Your light in their lives.
In faith, I believe that You are the God who hears our prayers and answers them according to Your perfect will. Thank You, Lord, for being our loving Father, our source of comfort, and our constant support. May Your peace reign in the heart of my struggling friend, and may Your love surround them always.
